During one of the world’s largest ticket conferences which took place in early July, travel tech company iWeekender launched its presence in the US and built strong relationships with ticketing professionals and leaders of the industry.

iWeekender is a tech company that offers a personalized, reliable and affordable event travel booking services for traveling fans by using dynamic packaging technology and recommending algorithms. The service allows ticket sales companies and event organizers to make additional revenue by adding convenient flights, hotels, and extras to the event tickets. The personalised online booking system connects people to a range of activities across the globe and to find the best price solution.

“We focus on making it as easy as possible for people to experience live events, and this means making the process of finding events, buying tickets, booking travel and entering the venue as seamless as possible. We use a variety of different signals in an effort to make this easier – shared location and interests. We also make recommendations based on what teams, artists and events the fan viewed and how they travelled with our platform in the past,” said Igor Alekhin, CEO of iWeekender.

At #WTC2019, iWeekender met with several big-name ticket brands to discuss strategic partnerships and integrations, including TicketEvolution, Ticketmaster and StubHub. Some of the potential joint collaborations discussed included creating a system of booking travel packages for popular events and other integration methods that would add extra value to the big brands’ services.

Eight out of 10 people reportedly book their holidays or trips online. iWeekender technology is making this process much easier through a platform that offers travel packages and allows customers to access ticket purchases for the event, the hotel and flight faster and easier than with any other platform.
