Today marks the official launch of Giga Startup’s media incubator Espacio’s newest project, Mi Dinero a new Spanish language publication dedicated to covering cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies, and fintech.
The project began to take root in response to the lack of accessible and informative news covering the complex topics, for the Spanish speaking world.
Andrés Taborda will be lead editor of the publication, supported by Alejandra Eusse and Jennifer Espinosa as the sites lead journalists. The team is a passionate group who hope to bring a fresh perspective on the latest fintech news for cryptocurrency enthusiast and the general public.
They have established that the content will feature topics and language from the finance world, but with an emphasis on maintaining comprehensibility for general audiences.
Mi Dinero will not only diffuse fintech news and information but also help to build the community and promote the growth of startups in the industry. In this way, Espacio will be part of the promotion and dissemination of the growth of cryptocurrencies in Latin America, and expand opportunities for large and small companies.
The Mi Dinero team commented, “[Mi Dinero] has a group of professionals dedicated to keeping up with the day to day of what goes on with cryptocurrencies, and highlighting important issues relating to Blockchain and Fintech “.
Mi Dinero is only the most recent project among many, directed by the media incubator Espacio, which aims to promote entrepreneurship, acceleration, and growth of new companies in Latin America and the world.
“This site represents a great challenge, as it covers a conjunctive issue, that is relatively unknown. Mi Dinero is the ideal platform to resolve the many uncertainties that have arisen from the controversy surrounding cryptocurrency in the world,” Andrés Taborda commented on the announcment.
