Travel the world, create content, get paid: applications for the “best job ever” are open. Torre, a recruitment platform matching talent from unconventional careers with fulfilling professional opportunities, is looking for somebody to hit the road and preach the possibilities of remote work.
All international travel and lodging costs will be covered for the selected Remoter Ambassador 2019-2020, a position which aims to articulate the why, how and what of remote work to a global community of business leaders. The successful applicant will be tasked with creating content across platforms and mediums, demonstrating to a variety of audiences why half of workers work from home at least half of the time – and why it is the future of work.
Torre is a leader in this space, using AI to power job matching solutions and further the transition from office work to remote work. Moreover, the outfit partners with Remoter.com, a major content producer and go-to hub for everything remote work. The Remoter Ambassador program is about spreading the word of remote work with good content and even better networking.
“We are always looking for movers and shakers with fierce determination to accomplish big goals. And we expect the same from our new Remoter Ambassador, who will be challenged with growing an audience of leaders interested in remote work globally,” says Alexander Torrenegra, the CEO of Torre. “By building fruitful relationships and networking their way into content opportunities, we hope to see the Ambassador working on diverse content formats that support the overall mission of spreading the word about remote work.”
The position is ideal for creative communicators, those who enjoy traveling to meet different cultures, new places, and learn more about the nature of remote work. Remoter podcasts, video interviews, blog stories, articles, and guides will fall under the umbrella of the position – with the ultimate goal of highlighting the benefit remote work. And to do that, the successful applicant will have an entire content team at their disposal, including an editor, graphic designer, video editor, and a motion graphics artist.
But where’s the catch? Well, there isn’t one. Applicants only need two years of experience in content marketing and copywriting, with one year in video creation and remote work, ideally with interest in inbound marketing, interviewing skills, public relations, and podcasting. The full-time position is open to nationals of any country residing in any time zone, with an annual salary of $50,000. More details can be found on Torre’s website.
