Healthtech solutions company Itiliti Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming have announced they’re partnering and leveraging the startup’s flagship PA Checkpoint solution to create cost-saving efficiencies across the state.
The venture’s PA Checkpoint solution is the first cloud-based SaaS product to allow providers to quickly find out if they need to submit a prior authorization request without contacting the health insurance company. By doing this answers to questions can be delivered faster, with no need for delays, and with less administrative friction.
Said Kris Urbanek, Vice President of Care Delivery and Provider Affairs at BCBSWY, “Itiliti Health’s SaaS solutions have been designed to meet the very specific needs of payers grappling with burdensome PA requests.”
“We’re eagerly anticipating the launch of PA Checkpoint to our network of providers which will help to accelerate outpatient treatments and avoid unnecessary delays in care to improve healthcare outcomes across the state of Wyoming. This will improve our members health care experience.”
Itiliti Health helps physicians and patients by streamlining the way claims are authorized by insurers. The company was founded by Michael Lunzer and Kurt Hulander in 2019.
